a review i found

well i found this review of stephen marley's-mind control...it is a tad old, but it is a really good cd...this is just to give you a taste...

Title: album review: stephen marley-MIND CONTROLArticle: Stephen Marley-Mind ControlThe genetics of the marley family is nonparallel. Offspring to offspring the legacy continues. For a few years we have had Damien"Jr. Gong" Marley and now, and now we have Stephen. Mind Control, his debut album, is to say the least a great one. I would not want to categorize it for you, but some people need more aural aide. I would say it has got the mellow vibe of Marley/Wailers era. Then again it also has newer, in the now, beats. Its a great album all around. Oh, I when I say album I mean cd. I am well aware of the difference.I just like the ring of it. But you can also get it on vinyl for those who enjoy mixing reggae. I have played it quite a few times at my job, and have gotten only positive responses, not only from employees but clients as well. The song that sticks in my head the most is the self titled track. That is more of his genes. The lyrics are flooring. Being a person who listens to all types of reggae I tend to like older stuff i.e. Bob Marley, the Wailers, Gregory Isaacs, to name a few...but several albums that have come out recently have brought it back. MIND CONTROL is proudly one of them. To be honest I would have enjoyed it regardless of who his family is. Although one glance at the man and you know. (As i said, those Marley genes are tremendous). So if you are looking for some hot new reggae-here you have it. I fore mentioned many more albums that I need for you guys to know. Whether you dig reggae or have only it hear it once in a while, I highly recommend adding this to your collection. Reggae is hotter than ever, and I am glad to say making a grand comeback. Jump on the bandwagon, you wont regret it.
